OBITUARY:
Mrs. Bettie A. Warner, sixty-eight years old, died Friday at her home near Duncan. Mrs. Warner was the wife of Vincent Warner and the daughter of John and Serena Carter Wickersham. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, at the Grapevine Christian church with the Rev. T. Hassell Bowen and the Rev. H. F. Hall, pastor, presiding. Burial was in the churchyard cemetery.
Mrs. Warner is survived by her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Collie Devine, Shakertown; Mrs. Henry Sims, Duncan; Mrs. Carl Sims, Harrodsburg; Mrs Hansford Sims, Duncan, and Mrs. Silvie Cornish, Harrodsburg; two sisters, Mrs. Sally Sims, Cornishville; Mrs Della Whitenack, New York; one brother, John Wickersham, Nevada, and six sons, Glave, Lawrence and Thomas Warner, Duncan; Elsworth and Riker Warner, Cornishville; Owen Warner, Sullivan, Ill. The six sons acted as pall bearers.
