HENRY - Lonnie R. Krafft, 60, of Henry died at 12:17 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2013, at his residence in Henry.
Lonnie was born Jan. 20, 1953, in Spring Valley, Ill., to Robert and Beverly (Boers) Krafft.
Surviving is his mother of Henry; two daughters, Sara Krafft of Denver, Colo., and Katelyn Krafft of Henry; his lifelong friend and mother of his two daughters, Teresa Smith; one granddaughter, Niobi Kulsar; and three brothers, Sonny (Barb) Krafft, Dennis "Pig" Krafft and Darren Krafft, all of Henry.
His father, Robert, and one sister, Juanita Krafft, preceded him in death.
Lonnie was a painter and a mechanic. He worked at B.F. Goodrich and Rickey Sales and Service, both in Henry.
He loved anything to do with cars, Westerns, Louis L'Amour books and the Native American culture.
Lonnie was a very loving and compassionate person, very accepting of others, always ready to help someone in need and never knew a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Cremation rites have been accorded. The family will receive family and friends at their home in Henry on Sunday, April 14, 2013.
Memorials may be made to the family.
