Orvin C. Larson, 47, Cato farmer, died Monday afternoon at the Holy Family hospital, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:15 p.m. Friday at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home and at 2 o'clock from the Gjerpen Lutheran church, with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Larson was born at St. Halaire, Minn., in 1896 and came to this county with his parents when a child. He lived in this city for a number of years and in 1933 purchased a farm on route 1, Cato, which he had since operated.
His only survivor is a brother, Officer Milton Larson of the Police Department.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 7 o'clock Wednesday evening.
