Excerpt -- Mrs. Christina Teets was born April 25, 1825, in Preston Co., Va., now West Virginia. She was a daughter of Martin and Elizabeth Wolf, and was united in marriage to Beni Teets on the third day of February, 1848. She was the mother of three children: Ezri Teets, John Teets and Nancy Elizabeth, now the wife of Joseph A. Young. Her entire life was spent in this county, where she became widely know and greatly loved by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. She was a true wife, devoted mother and one of the best neighbors that ever lived. The end came at 8 o'clock on Wednesday evening, March 15, 1905, after an illness of three weeks and had only been serious for three days. She was entombed at the John Snider graveyard, near where she lived, the funeral services were conducted by Rev. Shackelford of Tunnelton. She is survived by her aged husband and three children.
