John K. Larson, 76, lifelong county resident, died early today at the farm home in Cato, now operated by his son, Kenneth. He suffered a stroke Friday.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Larson home and at 2 o'clock from the Gjerpen Lutheran church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Larson was born on the homestead farm in 1867 where he spent his entire life, and in 1895 married Miss Rognal Throdson(sic). She died in 1941.
Survivors are two sons, Leonard and Kenneth of Cato; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Schnell of Liberty, Mrs. Robert Worthington, of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Hanson of Chicago, Mrs. Otto Berge of Valders.
The body will be moved to the Larson home Monday noon from the Berge funeral home, Valders, and may be viewed until the hour of the services.
