FAG member #49318855 Pamela Jean Duff submitted edits for this memorial. She believes that Sherman Caudell was born on 17 May 1897, in Owsley, Kentucky, United States. His DOB and state of birth have been verified by SSDI. It is believed that his father, Alexander Caudell (13379515), was 18 and his mother, Rebecca Wilder, was 26. He married Elizabeth Yeary on 8 July 1933, in Newport, Campbell, Kentucky, United States, however it appears that the marriage license has her last name as Lewis. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He lived in Ricetown, Owsley, Kentucky, United States in 1919 and Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio, United States in 1930. He registered for military service in 1919. He died on 1 February 1985, in Dagsboro, Sussex, Delaware, United States, at the age of 87, and was buried in Dagsboro Redmen's Memorial Cemetery, Dagsboro, Sussex, Delaware, United States.
Waiting for documentation to verify the exact place of birth in Kentucky, and his parents identity.
