EDWARD REHME

Edward A. Rehme, 83, formerly of 2106 Clark St., Manitowoc, died Friday at Family Heritage Home, Manitowoc, where he resided a year.

He was well known in the area as a well-driller, a profession he followed 65 years.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic church, Manitowoc. The Very Rev. Clement P. Kern will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Rehme was born Oct. 6, 1883, in the Town of Newton, son of the late Herman and Henrietta Schuman Rehme. He married Anna Rader Oct. 10, 1911, at St. Isadore Church, Osman, and they lived at Gillett 11 years while he worked in sawmills and then returned to Manitowoc. He was a member of the Holy Name Society.

Survivors are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Alice Zietlow of Manitowoc and Mrs. Erwin Harping of Land O'Lakes, two sons, Stephen of St. Nazianz and Joseph of Manitowoc, a brother, Otto of Clintonville, a sister, Mrs. Alvina Krumrey of Manitowoc, 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
