He was born May 17, 1976, in Salem, son of Steven and Teresa (VANDEVEER) COX.
Mr. COX is survived by his parents, Steven and Teresa COX of Salem; a sister, Tara McGHEE and husband Larry of Salem; two nephews, Wyatt and Weston McGHEE; special friend, Martez MARSHALL of Centralia; a sister-in-law, Barbara COX of Burlington, Vt.; his grandfather M. L.COX and wife Arlene of Dyersburg, Tenn.; two aunts, Nani MOORE and husband Charles of Macedonia, and Shelly HILTON and husband Butch of Sandoval; and cousins, Stephanie SIEBERT and husband Ronder, Tim HILTON and wife Amber of Centralia, George KUHN serving overseas, and Conner and Carson SIEBERT.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Christopher COX; and maternal grandparents, Les and Lill VANDEVEER, and Pauline HEWITT.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Day Macz Funeral Home in Patoka with Pastor Sam HESTER officiating. Interment will follow at Sandy Branch Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 to 11a.m.Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Patoka Civic Center or Sandy Branch Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
