Lucille Mailand Rohr, age 85, of 214 S. Alverno Road, Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening, April 17, 1996, at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:45 a.m. Monday, April 22, 1996, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno, where she was a lifetime member. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. David Beaudry with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The former Lucille Neuser was born November 7, 1910, in the town of Manitowoc Rapids, the daughter of the late John and Mary Popp Neuser. She married Joseph Mailand June 25, 1929 and the couple farmed together in the town of Manitowoc
Rapids for 40 years until his death on December 15, 1968. For the next 21 years Lucille was employed as a baker at Silver Lake College. On August 12, 1978, Lucille married Richard Rohr and he preceded her in death May 1, 1983. Mrs. Rohr was a member of the St. Joseph Christian Mother's, Catholic Women's Society,
Manitowoc County Homemakers, and Manitowoc Ostomy Club.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dolores and Dale Jungwirth, Rosendale, Wis.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Dorothy Mailand, Manitowoc, Joseph and Candy Mailand, Manitowoc; a son-in-law, Donald Sickinger, Manitowoc; a brother
and sister-in-law, Elmer and Blanche Neuser, Manitowoc; four sisters, Marie Gresl, Manitowoc, Eleanore Fischer, Manitowoc, Rosella Herman, Milwaukee, Lorraine
Lancioni, Illinois; a brother-in-law, Ben Fischer, Manitowoc; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, a daughter, Marjorie Sickinger, two grandchildren, Mark Mailand and Mary Sickinger, a sister, Arlene Fischer, four brothers-in-law, Jim Lancioni, Henry Herman, George Fischer, and Oscar Gresl.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Sunday where a prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening by Father Dave.
