WATERVILLE - Arlene Gladys Quirion, 74, died Sat., April 19, 2008 at Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home in Waterville. She was born in Shawmut, Sept. 15, 1933 the daughter of Ralph and Gladys (Bray) Nutt.

She attended Fairfield schools. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Waterville. She loved to watch nature and spend time with family and friends. She married Edward Joseph Quirion Dec. 2, 1950 and was married to him for 55 years until his death Feb. 18, 2006. Mrs. Quirion retired in 1985 after 32 years service at Hathaway Shirt Co.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Ronald, Eugene, and Charles and his wife Martha; and by her special friend, her poodle "Onyx."

Survivors include her two daughters, Linda Ann Roderick and husband Alfred and Angela Marie Pelletier all of Waterville; brother, William Nutt and wife Althea; four grandchildren, Stacy, Ryan, Trina and Jennifer; two great-grandchildren, Philip and Jessica; special friends, Bill and Gerry Page and their children, Michelle and husband Chris and their son Nolan and daughter Nora.
