ORANGEVILLE (Times Special)
—Mrs. Benjamin (Myrtle) Runkle,
70 died at 1:45 p. m. Saturday in
Deaconess hospital, Freeport, following
a short illness.
Mrs. RunWe, the former Myrtle
Cantrill was born June 16. 1884,
the daughter of Joel and Angeline
Cantrille in Buckeye Township.
On Jan. 16, 1904, she was married
to Benjamin Runkle in Freeport
and lived all of her lifetime
in the Oranfeville vicinity.
In addition to her husband. Mrs.
Runkle leaves two daughters, Mrs.
Gerald (Etoa) Likens. Freeport,
Mrs. Merle Mrs. Ida VanMatre, Orangeville.
She was preceded in death by five
brothers and fjve sisters.
She was a 'member of the Orangeville
Grace Reformed church and
the Orangeville Legion Auxiliary.
Services will be tomorrow at
1:30 p. m. in the Orangeville Grace
Reformed church with Rev. A. R.
Felts officiating. Burial will be in
the Orangeville cemetery. Friends
may call at the Burington-Cramer
funeral home until noon tomorrow
and then at the church
She was a 'member of the Orangeville
Grace Reformed church and
the Orangeville Legion Auxiliary.
