James Kenneth Luton, 73 of 3566 Olivet Church Road, died at 3:15 p.m. Saturday at his home. A native of Ballard County, he was retired from Union Carbide Corporation, was an Army veteran, a member and elder of Milburn Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Grahamville Masonic Lodge No. 707, and was a charter member and past president of the Concord Lions Club.

Mr. Luton is survived by his wife, Elsie Hester Luton: a son James Richard Luton of Lexington: a daughter, Wanda June Alexander of Paducah: A sister , Ernestine Snyder of Paducah and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Garnell M. Luton. His parents were Ernest H. Luton and Mae Vaughn Luton. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Lindsey Funeral Home. The Rev. Jamie Lively and the Rev. J.C. Womack will officiate. Burial will be in Oscar Baptist Church Cemetery in Oscar. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today, where masonic services will be at 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the memorial fund at Milburn Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church or Lourdes Hospice.
