He was awarded the Air Medal with one bronze oak leaf cluster, World War II Victory Medal, Occupation medal (Japan), National Defense Service medal, Armed Forces Reserve medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon with 4 bronze oak leaf clusters, and the European-African, Middle-Eastern Campaign medal with 3 bronze service stars.
