Funeral services for Daniel "Danny" Dwane Allmond, 55, of Rome will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Twin City United Methodist Church with Rev. Randall Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Garfield. The family will receive friends at Twin City United Methodist Church on Friday from 1 p.m. until time of service. He died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at the Floyd Medical Center in Rome after a brief illness.
Mr. Allmond was a graduate of Coosa High School in Rome, was self-employed and an avid Alabama football fan since early childhood. He was a member of AA and his humor will be missed by many cousins and friends. Mr. Allmond was preceded in death by his mother, Faye Allmond.
Survivors include his companion, Debbie Stuart of Rome; father, John Samuel Allmond (Janette) of Twin City; step-sister, Alison Goodman (Shaun) of Roswell; and step-brother, Robert Bell (Deborah) of Roswell.
Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors had charge of arrangements.
