Carl W. A. Anderson, 80, a farmer here 14 years, died at 6:35 p.m. Thursday in Naeve Hospital following a stroke. A native of Steele County, he was born Feb. 12, 1882 to Lars and Anne Anderson. In 1912 he came to Freeborn County living south of Albert Lea and later moved to a farm at Hartland where he resided with his son Milton. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran church in Albert Lea. Mr. Anderson and Dagmar Tapager were married at Albert Lea. She died May 26, 1929. One infant daughter, Brother, Anton S. Anderson, Three sisters; Mrs. George ( Sena)Larson, Mrs. Louis ( Mary) Larson, Dora Anderson all preceded him in death.
Survivors are: Two sons: Milton E. Anderson of Hartland, Victor S. Anderson of Rochester,
Two daughters; Sylvia I. Anderson of Oakland, Calif., Mrs. John ( Liela) Lyle of Hayward, Calif.,
One brother; Harold V. Anderson of Owatonna, Five grandchildren, Five great grandchildren
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, in Trinity Lutheran church, Albert Lea. Interment will be in the Lakewood cemetery.
