Dabney Died Rites Tuesday Funeral services for Edmund Read Dabney, 77-year-old 77-year-old prominent Third District, farmer,-who died at a Clarksville Hospital at 5 a. m Sunday Sunday morning, following a brief Illness of a stomach ailment, will be conducted at McReynolds Chapel at 5 o'clock p. m. tomorrow (Tuesday). Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery and those to act as pallbearers are Whitfield and Robert Durrett. Cliy CarolaniL John Mabry, Tom and Will Elliott, A. E. Dabney .and Ellen Manson Dabney II" was born Jan- .22, 1864 and was a life-long resident of Montgomery Community. Slow to anger, Mr. Dabney had an unusually good disposition and made friends of all with whom he came in contact. He was vell read and an interesting conversationalist. He remained active until his death. Mr. Dabney's death followed that of his wife. Mrs.Elizabeth Dabney" whom he was marrjed on June 5.-1R3 5.-1R3 5.-1R3 by onlv 13 months. He became ill two day::, ago and Mas re-moved to the hospital He is survived by son. .Staff Sgt Elmund Dabney. Jr. in the t.t. S Armv Air Corps, stationed at Hamilton Field, Calif., and one daughter. Mrs. Wade Hadley, with whom Mr. Dabney made his home" on the Dabney farm near Ifinaold Mr. Dabney was a member of the Bethel Methodist Church.
