Raymond retired from Fawn Engineering in 1999 after 29 years of service in the paint department.
After his retirement, he was a greeter at Walmart on SE 14th Street.
Raymond was a long time member of Fort Des Moines Presbyterian Church and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Nielene; brother, James McClarey; sisters, Dorothy (Rollin) Daly and Irene Rickard; caregiver, and a host of other family and beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Dolly (George) McClarey; and siblings, Eva Bauer, Charles McClarey, Lottie Dean, Max McClarey,and Kenneth McClarey
