BAZINE - Helmuth O. "Red" Tittel, 85, died July
18, 2000, at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend.
He was born June 6, 1915, at Mllberger, the
son of David and Amalie Keil Tittel.
A longtime Bazlne resident, he was a custom
cutter and farm worker.
He belonged to American Legion Post No. 392,
and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include: 12 nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by a brother,
Wilbert; and four sisters, Elma Mauch, Irene
Morley, Viola Tittel and Rosalie Gross.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at
Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, with
the Rev. Buzz Lambrecht presiding.
Burial will be in Bazlne Cemetery, with
military graveside rites performed by Bazlne
American Legion Post No. 392. Memorials may
be sent to the Bazlne EMTs, In care of
the funeral home.
