Edna Wood was the fashion artist for the Hearld Examiner Newspaper in the late 1920s through the mid 1930s.

She went to the "Hollywood Stars" events, made sketches & notes of what the Movie Stars wore, then illustrated them in pen & ink for the newspaper's publications.

Her Art work is on her headstone.

Edna moved from Sumter, SC to Santa Monica, CA. with her Mother & sister in 1922 when she was 14 years old.
Several Chandler families moved West also at that time.

She had four children.
