EDEN— Cindy "Rivers" Washburn, 97, of 805 Orrell St., died Tuesday night, Feb. 17, 2004, at Morehead Nursing Center.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Miss Washburn was born in Rockingham County to the late William Edgar and Clara DeHart Washburn. She was a member of Spray Baptist Church and retired from Fieldcrest Mills.
Surviving are sister Eloys DeHart of Eden; brothers, James Washburn and Curtis Washburn, both of Eden; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Spray Baptist Church, 745 Church St., Eden, NC 27288.
