EDEN Mary Elizabeth "Lib" Carter Sutliff, 75, of 1103 Fields St., died Friday, March 21, 2003, at the Brian Center of Eden, after a battle with Alzheimers Disease.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2003, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel, with the Pastor Wayne Johnson officiating the service. Burial will be in Ridgeview Cemetery.

Mrs. Sutliff was a homemaker and a native of Eden. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and special friend to many.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Joseph Garvin Sutliff Sr. of the home; her son, Joseph "Joe" Sutliff Jr. and wife, Jackie of Eden; her daughters, Pamela S. Peloquin and husband, Ron of Troy,Va. and Reba S. Robertson and husband, Tyke of Eden; eight grandchildren, Joey Sutliff, Amanda Hurley, Wendy Barker, Curt Peloquin, Brent Peloquin, Liza Peloquin, Tara Robertson and Ty Robertson; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie Gray Sams Carter and Martin Vann Carter; sisters, Hilda Meadows and Vera Purdy; and brother, James Morrell Carter.
