Opal Maude (Gray) Inboden,94,of Jonesboro, formerly of Bay, died Monday, April 25,2005 at Craighead Nursing Center.Time of death 1:20 P.M.
Born at Biggers,AR, she had lived in Jonesboro since 1970. A member of the Church of Christ, she retired from farming with her husband Charlie H. Inboden, and was a homemaker and previously worked at the Dapery Shop in Jonesboro.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Jr. Inboden of Jonesboro,Bill Inboden of Bono, Bobby Ray Inboden of San Antonio, TX, a daughter, Lula Mae Holt of Jonesboro, GA.; 15 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildrend and 5 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie H. Inboden; her parents, P.W. Gray and Loretta (Westerfield) Gray; her stepmother, Ora (Holt) Gray; two brothers, Kenneth and Wesley Gray, one sister Velva (Gray) Freeman.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday April 28 at Gregg Funeral Home Chapel, with Ministers E. Winston Burton and Kent McDaniel officiating. Burial was in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cementery.
Active pallbearers were grandsons,Terry Steven Inboden, Paul David Edmonson, Billy Kevan Inboden, Steven Dale Inboden, Hollis Kim Inboden, Clay Loran Inboden,William Douglas Edmonson and Joe Ross Edmonson.
Staff of Craighead Nursing Center served as honorary paulbearers.
Visitation was held from 5:30-8:00 P.M. April 27 at the funeral home.
