Harley A. Paris was the son of James Calvin Paris and Josephine Preston. He married first Elizabeth Brook about 1902 in Missouri. They had 3 children, William A. Paris, Alvira Brook Paris Olfelt, and Edith Dolores Paris. Harley A. Paris married second to Violet Anna Olson on March 29, 1929 in Cavalier, Pembina County, North Dakota. They had 2 children. Loretta Joy (Paris) Oeth, and Donald Harley Paris, my step-father.

Harley was a telephone lineman and installed the first telephone lines in Missouri. He was also a prohibition agent in the 1920's.
