She was born Dec. 11, 1927, in Danville, the daughter of Frank Mackiewicz and Julia Hanciaux.
She was united in marriage to Richard Frank Kantout in 1947.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Sherry) Kantout of Westville, Lisa Kantout of Florida and Gregory "Whitey" Rand of Westville; her grandchildren, Michele (Jason) Ryan of Westville, Brandi Kantout of Texas, Ashley, Crager, Becall and Christopher, all of Florida; her great-grandchildren, Alexa and Makenzie, both of Westville, and Jacob of Florida; and her half-siblings, Alan, Dale, Paul, Robert, Don and Marlene Mackiewicz, and Robert and Sharon Brady of Catlin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son Rick Allen Kantout.
Jacqueline was a member of St. Mary's Church, where she did volunteer work in St. Mary's School library when her daughter, Lisa, attended. She loved taking care of her great-grandchildren Alexa and Makenzie. They loved her very much, and she will be greatly missed by them. She was a great Wife, Mother and Grandmother, and her family will miss her dearly.
