Van Bush Solomon, 88, of Biddle Street, died Saturday evening at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include his wife: Betty Vest Solomon; a son and daughter-in-law: Paul and Sharon Solomon of Greeneville; a stepdaughter and her husband: Pat and Marvin Solomon of Greene County; four grandsons and their wives: Joseph and Tammy Solomon, Matthew and Angela Solomon, Mark Solomon, and Kevin Solomon; a stepgrandson and his wife: Marvin Joe and Amanda Solomon; six great-grandchildren: Adam Solomon, Courtney Solomon, Tracy Solomon, and Alan Solomon, all of Midway, and Hailee Solomon and Hannah Solomon, both of Freemont, Neb.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a son of the late Sylvanous and Ollie Homer Solomon and was preceded in death by his first wife: Irene Vest Solomon; and a son: Wayne Solomon.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at Kiser Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in McMillan Cemetery. Gordon Miller will officiate.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and Carl Solomon.
