Bereft of Their Baby
Alma Josephine Felt, daughter of Harry and Grace Felt, died at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Johnson last Friday morning, February 9. She was born at Junction City, February 27, last year. Her death was from pneumonia. The funeral service was at the Johnson home Sunday. The beautiful casket was surrounded by beautiful flowers, many of them sent by friends at Junction City and Sabetha. The services were in charge of the ladies of the Universal church, the music being in charge of Mrs. Lottie Harvey.

Miss Beatus Fuller sang a solo. The choir was of four young ladies: Misses Alice Ganter, Lucille Collins, Gertrude Bruner and Edith Myers. the remarks by Rev. Niveen were especially timely and appropriate. The burial was at 2:30, four young girls, Mary Davis, Erma Bruner, Edith Campbell and Zoie Gunter acting as pallbearers. The services at the grave were touching and beautiful.

The deceased child was here on a visit when stricken with the fatal illness. Her death is a loss that has stricken relatives with anb abiding sorrow. Mr. and Mrs. Felt left for Sabetha Wednesday, where after a day with Mr.. and Mrs. Turner, they will go to their new home in Goodland, Kansas.
