Lucy M. Belisle, 53, of Plainville, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday (August 23, 2010) at The Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was born on January 16, 1957 in Bristol to Mary (Lesiw) Czapor and the late Michael Czapor. Lucy was a longtime Plainville resident and a member of New Life Fellowship Church, One Northwest Drive, Plainville, CT where she was a member of the choir. In addition she was also a member of the Women's Group at the Church which was involved in various fund raising efforts for the Church and Community Outreach Programs, including supporting a child through World Vision based in Tacoma, WA. She was also a member of Women of Faith and attended their conferences every year. She leaves her two loving children Jessica and Alexander Belisle both of Plainville, her mother Mary Czapor of Plainville, her two sisters Helen Zeleniuk and her husband Peter Zeleniuk , and Stella Laurie and her husband David Laurie all of Plainville, a brother Peter Czapor and his wife Trudy Czapor of Apache Junction, AZ, along with two nieces Sandra Lennon of Plainville and Bridget Lee of San Bernadino, CA, and a nephew Daniel Laurie of Davenport, IA and a grandnephew Ethan Lee of San Bernadino,CA A celebration of Lucy's life will be held on Monday (August 30, 2010) at 6 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home 48 Broad St. Plainville. Family and friends may gather from 4-6 prior to the service. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
