Colton Lee McHaney, age 22, of Lake Butler, FL. passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at his residence. Colton was born on August 6, 1990 in Gainesville, FL. His hobbies included fishing, playing on the computer, playing guitar and like every young man, he loved his truck. Colton was loved by everyone who knew him. He loved spending time and getting in trouble with Landon, James and Cooper. Colton was preceded in death by his great grandmother and grandmother whom he was very close to, Mary Mack and Debbie Conner. He was also predeceased by his grandfather, Ralph McHaney.
Survivors include his mother, Daquiri McHaney (Brad Rimes), Lake Butler; his father, Daryl Leon McHaney (Sue Bowen), White Springs, FL.; one brother, Cooper Rimes, Lake Butler; grandparents, Betty and Harold Harless and Trent and Melinda Rimes.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 19, 2013 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, FL. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in White Springs, FL.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 5:00-7:00 P.M. Thursday, April 18 at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper.
