Ivan Lawrence Tyler, 85, Illinois City, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 1992, at Muscatine General Hospital.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at George M. Whittich-Lewis Funeral Home, Muscatine. Burial is in Illinois City Cemetery.
Visitation is 1 p.m. until service time Wednesday. A memorial fund has been established.
Mr. Tyler was born Aug. 3, 1907, in Illinois City, the son of Guy Sylvester and Rosa Furst Tyler. He married Colleen Carolee Moses Dec. 22, 1937, in Palmyra, Mo. She died in 1987.
He was a farmer in Illinois City all his life.
He was a member of the Illinois City United Methodist Church.
Survivors inclulde a daughter, Karen Sue Brockert, Muscatine, grandchildren, Denise Monk and Eric Creamer, both of Muscatine; and a sister, Lura McGinnis, Joy, Ill.
