In Memory of
John Leo Grelles
"Ricochet"
October 16, 1943 - March 29, 2013
Obituary
John L. Grelles AKA "Ricochet" went to that great fishing hole in Heaven March 29, 2013. John was a man of many words and loved to test us on trivia. He was a loyal man to his friends and loved his family. John would rather be on his boat in the Gulf telling everybody how to fish and looking for the next grouper hole than any other place on Earth. He was such a strong life force, totally enjoyed his life and will be missed by many good friends and all animals. Survived by wife, Linda, daughter Chris Kennedy and grandson Tyler Kennedy, sister Toni Chambliss, nephew John Chambliss, (Joanne), many loving cousins, aunts, nieces and nephews, half brother and sisters. John was a truck driver all his life, owned and operated his own dump truck (for many years). He was a Navy Veteran (serving on the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt). Memorial will be at Groover Funeral Home, 1400 36th Avenue, East in Ellenton, Florida Saturday, April 13th, 1 to 3 P.M. Burial on a later date at Sarasota National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Southeastern Guide Dogs in his name.
