ELOY — Shansan Romaine Gant, 32, of Eloy died on April 13, 2013.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church. The funeral will follow at 11, with Pastor Dan Williams officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mr. Gant was born on Oct. 21, 1980, in Florence. He attended Santa Cruz Valley Union High School and worked in construction. He enjoyed listening to music, family gatherings, fishing, basketball, track, shooting pool, dancing and "looking in the mirror."

Survivors include his parents, Betty J. Williams of Coolidge and Eltorna Gant Sr. of Eloy; two daughters, Torriantha N. Gant and Anyiah Rae-Lei Porras-Gant of Eloy; a son, Shansan R. Gant Jr. of Eloy; and five brothers, Eltorna Gant Jr. and Julius Gant of Coolidge, Maurice Gant of Tucson, Terrance and Eltorna Gant II of Casa Grande. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Janice Griffin and a sister, Kinista Harris.
