Mary Jane was born November 14, 1928 in Michigan, ND. She was the daughter of Urban and Lillian Theisen. She was a registered nurse and married Arthur J. Morris Jr. in Davenport, Iowa on December 1, 1951. They lived in
Illinois, Iowa, and Kansas before moving to California. She was a new resident of Dana Point, having recently moved from San Clemente where she lived for 20 years.
She is survived by four children, Mary Therese (Mark) Bradley of Kansas City, MO, Kathleen Ann (Giovanni) Morris-Tommaso of Rome, Italy, James Michael (Sue) Morris of LaVerne and Stasi Eileen (John) Eldredge of Colorado Springs, CO; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, two sisters, Marcella (Chuck)Matze of Glen Ellyn, IL and Toni Betting of Grand Forks, ND. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother, her husband and two grandchildren.
Mary Jane was a beloved mother, sister, and friend who loved to be outdoors. She loved the beauty of nature, her garden and the ocean, She will be remembered for her caring heart, her strong faith, and her love for all of us.
