Knoxville Journal, Sat., 21 Oct 1933, pg 12:

"MRS. ROSA GIBBS
Mrs. Rosa Gibbs, 71, No. 115 West Front avenue, died Friday at 4:40 a. m. at General hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted today at 2:30 p. m. from Mann's mortuary chapel. The Rev. W. E. Parry, pastor of People's Tabernacle will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery. Mrs. Gibbs was a member of People's Tabernacle.

Mrs. Gibbs is survived by one daughter Mrs. Margaret Trout; three step-daughters, Mrs. Mollie Gaines, of Mascot; Mrs. George N. Pannell, of Georgia, and Mrs. Alice Ward, of Maryville, and one sister, Mrs. Rebecca Milligan, of Knoxville."
