ELI PAULSON

Mr. Eli Paulson, 86, retired Cato farmer and nurseryman, died Saturday morning at his home in the village of Valders.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Gjerpen Lutheran church, the Rev. Norman Beernsten officiating.


He was born in Manitowoc Rapids in 1864 and in 1895 married Miss Mary Peterson. They located on the homestead farm in Cato. She died in 1916.

In 1928 he married Mrs. Christina Torrison. Eli leaves two sons, Walter and Ralph of Manitowoc; daughter, Mrs. Roy Nelson of Cato, three brothers, Theodore and Norman of Manitowoc Rapids and Arthur of New York City; sister Pauline of Los Angeles; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.


Friends may call at the Berge funeral home, Valders, after Monday noon. The casket will be moved to the church at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
