Death Message Calls Another Old Settler
Iver Paulson aged 77 years another of Manitowoc's pioneers died at his home at Manitowoc Rapids, on Saturday morning after an illness of long duration.
Decedent had been a resident of this county for over half a century and was well known throughout the state in marine circles generally by reason of his connection with the ship building industry which at the time was one of the leading occupations.
He was born in Norway coming here in the early fifties.
In 1860 he retired from this business and purchased a farm at the Rapids where
he continued to reside until his death.
Six children survive to mourn his loss.
