KENNETH L. RENO
Kenneth Lyle Reno, age 53, of 509 St. Clair St., Manitowoc, died Sunday afternoon, June 15, 1997, at his residence following a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 1997, at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders. Rev. William Timm will officiate with burial to follow at Gjerpen Cemetery, Valders.
He was born June 27, 1943, in Manitowoc, Wis., son of Gladys Musil Reno and the late Willard Reno. Kenneth was a graduate of Lincoln High School and attended art school for two years. He married the former Geraldine Nathalia Faber on April 8, 1982, at the Candlelight Chapel, Las Vegas, Nev. Ken was employed at the Mirro Company, Manitowoc. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Valders.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine N. Reno, Manitowoc; his mother, Gladys Reno, Manitowoc; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Scott Reno, Atlanta, Ga., Tyrone and Kay Faber, Manitowoc; three step grandchildren, Danny, Michael and Jamie Karbon, Manitowoc; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Darwin Reno, Maribel, Dick and Darlene Reno, Ronald and Sally Reno, Davis and Yvonne Reno, all of Manitowoc; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Joan and Danny Faber, Valders, Charlene and Gordon Strauss, Karen Reno, all of Manitowoc. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Anna Faber, Valders; aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Reno; his father-in-law, Alin Faber; and one brother-in-law, Dennis Faber.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday evening and at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders, on Thursday from 9 a.m until the time of service at 11 a.m.
