Flight Maintenance Director and Air Force Veteran.

Born in Bad Pyrmont, Jagerweg, Germany, he was the son of Karl and Meta (Eichler) Lenk. He graduated from Colorado Aero Tech. He and Mary Lou Caskey were married Feb. 14, 1986, in Parker.

Mr. Lenk worked as the director of maintenance for Energy Corporation of America, in the flight department at Centennial Airport. He was a member of the NRA and American Legion.He enjoyed airplanes, guns and the great outdoors. He was an avid birdwatcher and loved his faithful dog, Domino. He was a great friend to all who knew him.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1970.Mr. Lenk was survived by his wife of Parker; stepsons Chad Caskey and his wife, Dawn, of Castle Rock and Cade Caskey and his wife, Jennifer of Castle Rock; and grandchildren Ryah, Logan and Cole Caskey of Castle Rock.

A memorial service was held April 27 at Parker Funeral Home. Burial followed at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area C. Parker Funeral Home handled arrangements.
