Mack Rutledge Dies At Home of Nephew

Mack Rutledge, 60, for the past year a resident of this place, died Saturday morning at the home of his nephew, Lennie Rutledge. Mr. Rutledge had lived in this vicinity for a number of years and was employed on various farms about the country until he came to live with his nephew. He was stricken by pneumonia two weeks ago.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Isaac Divan, of Ogden and two brothers, Charles of Veedersburg, Indiana and George of Homer.
Funeral services were held at the local undertaking parlors at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon, with Rev. Litherland conducting the services. A choir consisting of Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Yeazel and Miss Lena Ackerman sang, "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" and "Abide With Me."
Mr. Rutledge is well known here and there are many friends who will be grieved to know of his death.
