Amelia Adele Cecchini was born February 5, 1906 in Yerington, Nevada, the daughter of Paolo Cecchini and Katherine Sei. She moved to Sparks as a young girl, and had resided in the railroad town ever since.

In 1923 she married Ugo Angeli, and the couple had three daughters together: Betty, Dorothy, and Sharon. Sharon passed away in 1950 from cancer, and Ugo died in 1967 after a long illness.

Amelia was a member of the Sparks Sons of Italy and St. Therese the Little Flower Catholic Church.

Survivors included two daughters, Betty Ghiglieri and Dorothy Matteoni; a sister, Mrs. Emma Andreini; all of Reno-Sparks; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
