The family lived in Goldfield at the time. He left behind his wife, Anne, and 2 baby daughters, Neita (age 3) and Joy (7 month old infant). Anne described him as having coal black hair, combed back straight back, high arched black brows over very dark eyes, a scar across one cheek.
