Son of Lewis Edward and Cora Belle(Carl)Cook. Brother to Harry E. of Denver, Co. and Charles E. of Colby, KS. A veteran of WWII where he served with the US Navy. United in marriage to Ellen (Erb) VanDyke in Denver on January 23, 1947. Father to a daughter Debra Kay, adopted 1950, and a son Douglas David, adopted 1952. He was a truck driver and worked for Denver-Chicago Trucking Company until he moved to Frazee, MN in 1973. He is survived by his daughter and son and three grandchildren. He was followed in death by his wife Ellen in 1996 and one grandchild Sheldon, in 1998.
