She is the daughter of Granville and Clarissa Mayfield. She married George B. Starkey on March 14, 1900.

Mildred Omega Adams was born December 22, 1876, in Iowa, and passed from this life after a lingering illness on April 21, 1960, at the age of 83 years and 4 months.

She was married in 1900 to George B. Starkey, and they spent the most of their married life in Farnam, Nebraska. She was a charter member of the Baptist Church of Farnam. To this union was born three sons, and one daughter.

Her husband, two sons, and daughter preceeded her in death.

In 1934 she married Herbert Adams. He passed away in 1945.

She leaves to mourn her passing one son, Guy Starkey of Denver, Colorado, with whom she had made her home the last few years; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed by those who were so close to her.

Among those who attended the graveside services in the Farnam Cemetery on April 23, were Mr. and Mrs. Guy Starkey, Englewood, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Clinton, Englewood, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mayfield, Windsor, Colo.; and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mayfield, Fort Morgan, Colo.
