PASSED AWAY FRIDAY Word was received here last Friday that Mrs. John Titchen had passed away that day at the home of her parents at Broadwater, Nebr. Mrs. Titchen, nee
Esther Starr was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Starr.

She was born at Havelock, Nebr., July 11, 1905 and passed away Sept. 29th at the age of twenty-eight years, two months, and eighteen days. She was united in marriage to
John Titchen of Farnam in 1922. She is survived by three small children besides her husband: Jay, seven years, Murvin, five years and Ruth, eighteen months. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church at Broadwater, Monday afternoon, conducted by the pastor. The Titchens left here last March and went to Chapman, Nebr., where they worked for E. P. Stewart.

Six weeks ago they went to Broadwater. Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Donelson of
Holdrege, Mrs. Lily Oman, Percy Donelson and Martin Titchen drove to Broadwater Sunday to attend the funeral.

They were guests Sunday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Plummer at Bridgeport.
