Ann Brandon (as she was known by) was born March 10, 1936, in Birmingham, Alabama. She was the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Kersey) Farley. She spent her early childhood in Birmingham, attending schools there before moving to Bailey, Michigan in 1947.
On June 22, 1957, she was united in marriage to Victor Brandon in Miami, Oklahoma. He survives at their home.
From 1957 to 1960, she and her husband lived in Ottawa, Kansas. From 1960 to 1963, she and her family lived on the west coast: in California, Oregon and Washington. In 1964, they moved to Kansas City, Kansas, and to Overbrook in 1984, where she made her home until her death Saturday, November 17, 2001, at the age of sixty-five years.
She was a lifelong homemaker.
Ann was a member of Full Faith Church of Love in Shawnee, Kansas. She loved to read the Bible, but first and foremost, she loved to spend time with her family. She also loved her pets and enjoyed working with her flowers.
Besides her husband, Victor, she leaves behind three sons, Calvin L. Larkin, Raymond W. Brandon, of Kansas City, Kansas, Victor C. Brandon Jr. of Overbrook, Kansas, Stephen L. Brandon of Wichita, Kansas; eight grandchildren, JoAnn Woods, Mandi Scott, Joshua Brandon, Daniel Brandon, Jeanie Henderson, Robert
Henderson, Stacy Brandon, Stephen Brandon; and four great-grandchildren, Hunter Scott, Raven Scott, Katelyn Woods and Alison Schmidt.
Her parents and several brothers and sisters precede her in death.
