Ethelmae Hyde of Eugene, Oregon died April 11 of age-related causes. She was 85.
Mrs. Hyde was born Oct. 17, 1919, in Detroit, Mich., to Harry and Pearl Beaumont. She married James Forest Hyde in Detroit in 1935. He died in 1978. Before moving to Eugene, she lived in Orange County, Calif.
Survivors include a son, Terry of Battleground, Wash.; four daughters, Shirley Schraff of Idyllwild, Calif., Diane Coffman of San Jacinto, Calif., Sandra Shaner of Cheshire, and Merilee Taylor of Las Vegas, Nev.; 16 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Two grandchildren died previously.
