He was born Nov. 4, 1923, at Wakeman, Ohio, the son of Clyde Oliver and Emilia (Betts) Wolcott.

He is survived by wife, Lelia; three sons, C. Robert (Esther) Wolcott Jr. of Fleetwood, PA., Gary (Carolyn) Wolcott of Arlington, VA., and Larry (Miriam) Wolcott of Utica, OH; one daughter, Mary (Brian) Hamond of Freeport, IL; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Clara Engen of Fleetwood, Pa., and Rita Gavin of Fort Myers, Fla.; and a brother, Andrew Wolcott of Dixon, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth L. (Conkling) Wolcott.
