Funeral services were held Friday, May 6, 11 a.m. at St. Maurus Catholic Church, in Biehle, with Reverend Kevin Fausz, Reverend Mark Bozada, and Reverend Tony Dattilo officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery. Young & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. handled the arrangements.
He was born April 4, 1921, in Bollinger County, Missouri, a son of Louis H. and Elizabeth (Werth) Clements.
He was married to Thelma C. "Tooty" (Buerck) Clements on May 26, 1951.
She preceded him in death on October 6, 1984.
Survivors include four sons and five daughters, Larry Clements and his wife, Beverly, of Villa Ridge, Missouri, Margery (Mrs. Mark) Winschel, Randy Clements and his wife, Bonnie, Terry Clements and his wife, Jennifer, and Cindy (Mrs. Randy) Pecaut, all of Perryville, Peggy (Mrs. Neal) Yamnitz of Bloomsdale, Cathy (Mrs. John) Boyd of Jackson, Carol (Mrs. Tom) Kuhlmann of Marquand, Missouri, and James Clements and his wife, Tina, of Ste. Genevieve; one brother, Kellie Clements of Perryville; one sister, Mae Propst of Sedgewickville, Missouri; 24 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Besides his wife he was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Pamela Clements; four brothers, Lloyd, Edgar, George, and Oscar Clements; four sisters, Katherine Besand, Mary Wilke, Alma Schnurbusch, and Irene Clements who died in infancy; one granddaughter, Angela Winschel; and one grandson, Travis Clements.
Mr. Clements was a carpenter and farmer. He was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle.
The family requests memorials from the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
