John Curtis Brightbille, 67, of Newport RD1, died Monday at his home.
He was a member of the Newport United Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Blanche Hain Brightbill; a daughter, Mrs. E. M. Paley, of DeLand, Fla.; four brothers, Earl A., of New Orleans, La., George D., of Claysburg, William L., of Randallstown, Md., and Donald F., of Harrisburg; five sisters, Mrs. Oakley Webb, of Duncansville, Mrs. E. P. Diehl and Mrs. C. O. Hoenstine, both of Claysburg, Mrs. Frances Lingenfelter, of Sharon, and Mrs. Helen Salyards, of Baltimore, Md.; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services will be held today, Thursday at 11 A.M. at the funeral home on Walnut St., Newport. The Rev. Braynard Kurkowski will officiate. Burial will be in Newport Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
