Roscoe L. Crambe, aged 71 years, died January 21 after an illness of a number of weeks. He came to Plymouth some 15 years ago, and has been employed at the Wayne County Training School during most of this time. He was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and for years conducted a hardware store in Malaca [sic], Minnesota.
He is survived by sons Roscoe and Thomas of Plymouth, and daughters, Lieut. Lois L. Crambe of the ANC, at present stationed at Cushing Hospital in Framingham, Massachusetts; Mrs. Merrill Olson of Minneapolis; Mrs. Dorothy Burns of Peoria, Illinois, and a sister, Mrs. R. W. Gamble of Kewanee, Illinois, and a brother, A. L. Crambe of Crookston, Minnesota. Six grandchildren also survive. The funeral services were conducted Monday, January 3 [sic!], from the Wilkie Funeral home, burial taking place in Riverside Cemetery. Rev. Stout of Calvary Baptist Church officiated.
