BUSHNELL - Debbie F. Laswell, age 49, of 443 Front St. passed away at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Countryview Care Center in Macomb.
She was born Sept. 16, 1963, at home in Smithfield, the daughter of Ward A. and Betty E. (Bender) Laswell.
Surviving are two daughters, Jessica Laswell and Kim Laswell; four grandsons, Landen, Domenic, Brycen and Dakoda; one brother, Ed Laswell; six sisters, Pat (Carl) Brown, Ruth Stanton, Ollie Shannon, Charlotte Church, Marilyn (John) Frank and Betty (Curt) Walters; aunt and uncle, Earl and Sue Bender; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her birth parents, and Arnold and Mary Laswell, who raised her, and one brother, David Laswell.
Debbie graduated from Cuba junior and senior high schools. She worked as a CNA for over 20 years for home health and at various nursing homes. Debbie later worked at NTN Bowers in Macomb.
She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba. Burial will be in Baughman Cemetery in rural Smithfield. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the memorial home.
Memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for her grandsons c/o First Bankers Trust in Macomb.
